Way back in April 2013 we were asked to pitch on a channel branding project for a new indian television channel. Showing exclusively romantic comedy, it was aptly named Romedy Now.
After successfully winning the pitch, we set about creating an entire brand and channel package for Romedy Now, from logo and colours to idents, OSP and all onscreen graphics.
We created the entire on air kit based around our idea of the letters coming together to form words and phrases. We used the negative space between letters, and the counters of the 'o' to reveal footage and transitions. All of this was delivered in a ready to use package for the guys over in india.
Finally, we designed and directed a set of 4 idents - with VFX work from the excellent chaps at Neon
